Dog Complaint Leads to the Death of Two Deputies 

 

The governor of Michigan is fighting against old oil pipes in a confrontation with the Great Lakes oil pipeline.  Governor Whitmer said she will pursue the company’s profits if they do not comply with shutting down the pipeline.

In the wake of the Colonial Pipeline shutdown due to a cyberattack, people have started to hoard gasoline.  US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm stated that there is no shortage and the hoarding has been caused by rumors and fear.

Senate Democrats are trying to make sweeping changes to voting.  However, Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell argues the move is far too radical for the US voting system.
