FBI – Gun Buying Background Checks reach New Record

The FBI is reporting a new record for the number of gun buying background checks taking place in March.  The data shows 4.7 million background checks were completed.  One third more than the number of background checks in February.

Tony Blinken, the US Secretary of State said the Sudan has sent the United States $335 million in a settlement for families of victims in embassy bombings and the attack on the US Navy’s USS Cole.

There has been a disturbing problem with a high number of murdered and missing Native Americans.  Tribes are now teaming with the US Justice Department to address the crisis.
